最初の方の「後悔しない」あたりの解釈がウェブ上ではいろいろあります。
最後の「苦しみ」から「信じているのだろうか」までの解釈もいろいろありますが、直訳しました。

映画「アクロス・ザ・ユニバース」の冒頭で登場するスローな「Girl」をカバーしているYoutubeの投稿がいくつかありました。切ない感じがいいですね。

2004年、サラ・マクラクランのアンコールで歌った《Blackbird》。このビートルズの歌は、プロ・アマ問わず多くの人に歌われています。
映画《アイ・アム・サム》の挿入歌としてこの曲を歌ったのがサラなので、アンコールが盛り上がっています。
1997年の「サーフェシング」というアルバムが1000万枚を突破。グラミーもとり、女性主導型のライブイベントも成功させ、いったん子育てで休養したあとの復活ライブがこの映像。
